Unis Attends Candidate’s Briefing

Unis attended the state's county school boards associations Candidate’s Briefing, held in cooperation with the New Jersey School Boards Association.

This regional program for local school board candidates was held on March 5th.

The objective of this program was to address the structure and responsibilities of local boards in New Jersey. Participants received insight on information such as policy-making, collective bargaining, and cooperation among the board, superintendent, and faculty.

Unis prepared the following public statement:

I believe attending these event are critical towards the development of a school board candidate. It provides a deeper understanding of the role of a member of the board of education as well as provides an opportunity to network outside our district.
