A Website Redesign For Verona Schools

Unis seeks to utilize the 21st century technology that is so prevalent in the consumer world and bring it to the Verona Schools. Through collaboration between administration, faculty, students and parents, the Verona Schools website can open new channels of communication to the community.

Preparing students for success after high school is one of the main points to the Verona Schools Strategic Plan. This innovative website enables the opportunity for students to design portions of this new online community for their college portfolio. This brings experience based learning directly into the classroom. As a whole, this will benefit the student, the school, and the community through state of the art technology and improved systems of communication.

Along with improvements in collaboration within the schools, Unis proposes a Verona Board of Education Blog. This would serve as a one-stop-spot for all of the communities needs for information about the Verona School Board.

Surrounding townships can also review information and contact the Verona School Board for opportunities to work together. The Verona Board of Education meetings can be reordered, uploaded to the video website www.youtube.com, and shared with the public on the proposed Verona Board of Education Blog. This would provide 24 hour access to board meetings 7 days a week.

As the plans move forward for a new website for www.veronaschools.org, new opportunities for collaboration and improved channels of communication will continue to be discovered.
